Alfred Liggins is responsible for the overall management and operating performance of Interactive One, which includes pursuing new business ventures, identifying acquisitions, managing an integrated business plan and attracting key talent. Mr. Liggins is also the founder and CEO of Radio One, Inc., the parent company of Interactive One and the largest multi-media company that primarily targets African-Americans. In his role as Chief Executive Officer and President of Radio One, Mr. Liggins has led the Company’s transformation into a diversified multi-media platform that owns the following assets: 53 radio stations located in 16 urban markets in the United States, leading African American digital platform Interactive One, interests in cable/satellite network TV One, and Reach Media, Inc, owner of the Tom Joyner Morning Show. Mr. Liggins attended the University of California in Los Angeles and the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C. He received his MBA in May 1995 from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Liggins serves on the Board of Directors for Radio One, Inc., TV One, LLC, Reach Media, Inc., Ibiquity Digital Corporation and the Apollo Theatre.
